  • Forskere fra University of Cambridge har funnet et av de eldste kjente 3D-dyrefossilene på et sauebeite i Finnmark, ifølge en studie publisert onsdag i Palaeontology.
  • Det 560 millioner år gamle Charnia-fossilet ble bevart av et eldgammelt undersjøisk ras, noe som avdekker strukturelle detaljer man aldri har sett i flatere eksemplarer.
  • Forskere sier funnet tyder på at tidlig komplekst liv var mer utbredt enn hittil kjent, og at uutforskede steder kan gjemme lignende funn.
