  • Une étude publiée mercredi dans Oceanography révèle que le réchauffement climatique d'origine humaine a été nécessaire pour chaque épisode mondial de blanchissement des coraux au cours des 40 dernières années.
  • Les données de la NOAA montrent que le quatrième épisode mondial de blanchissement en cours a touché environ 84% de la surface mondiale des récifs coralliens dans 83 pays depuis 2023.
  • Les chercheurs prévoient qu'd'ici 2028, le réchauffement d'origine humaine surpassera l'influence d'El Niño dans toutes les régions de récifs coralliens de la planète.
