The findings arrive as the field of Alzheimer's diagnostics undergoes rapid transformation. Separate data presented at AAIC 2026 showed that blood-based biomarker tests helped primary care physicians achieve diagnostic accuracy of roughly 93%, nearly matching the 94% achieved by dementia specialists.
