  • Une étude publiée mercredi dans Science Advances présente 28 échantillons de roches datés de la mission Chang'e-6 chinoise, âgés de 4,33 à 1,13 milliard d'années.
  • Les échantillons provenant de la face cachée de la Lune ne montrent aucun regroupement il y a 3,9 milliards d'années, ce qui remet en question l'hypothèse du Grand Bombardement Tardif.
  • Les chercheurs affirment que ces découvertes modifient également la compréhension de la Terre primitive, où l'érosion a effacé la plupart des traces d'impacts anciens.
