  • IAEA:n hallintoneuvosto äänesti keskiviikkona Iranin ydinohjelman sääntöjenvastaisuuksien siirtämisestä YK:n turvallisuusneuvoston käsiteltäväksi, mikä on ensimmäinen kerta kahteen vuosikymmeneen.
  • Yhdysvaltojen, Britannian, Ranskan ja Saksan laatima päätöslauselma hyväksyttiin äänin 23-3, vastustajina Venäjä, Kiina ja Niger, kahdeksan maan pidättäytyessä äänestämästä.
  • Iran tuomitsi siirron poliittisesti motivoituna, ja presidentti Trump uusi uhkauksensa iskeä Natanzin lähellä sijaitsevaan linnoitettuun Pickaxe Mountain -kompleksiin.
