World trade rose in April despite Hormuz disruptions

Global trade volumes increased 0.7% in April compared to the previous month, rebounding from a sharp decline in March, according to the CPB World Trade Monitor published on Wednesday by the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis.
