fonearena+1androidauthorityfonearenaXiaomi made its IFA debut this week in Berlin with more than 3,300 square meters of exhibition space — its largest standalone overseas exhibition to date — showcasing over 380 products centered on its "Human × Car × Home" ecosystem. The presentation, which began during IFA media days on September 2 and 3, connects personal devices, smart vehicles, and smart home products through AI and the company's HyperOS operating system, with the full exhibition open to visitors from September 4 to 8.fonearena+2
The exhibition is organized around three zones: AI Tomorrow, AI Today, and a product portfolio spanning seven categories from cooking and air management to smart mobility. The AI Today area combines the Xiaomi SU7 Max with simulated kitchen, living room, bedroom, and study environments to demonstrate how vehicles, personal devices, and smart home products can coordinate — adjusting lighting and air conditioning before a user arrives home, or configuring a room for reading.fonearena
Xiaomi also used the event to debut the Xiaomi 18 Fold, a wide-screen foldable powered by the company's in-house XRing O3 chip and featuring next-generation LPDDR6 RAM. The device, shown in a cherry red finish, will officially launch in China on September 7. On the automotive side, the company displayed the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo, an electric hypercar concept created for the Gran Turismo franchise, alongside the new-generation SU7 sedan and the SU7 Ultra, which set a Nürburgring record in its class in April 2025.androidauthority+2
Xiaomi's Mijia smart home brand is making its large-scale European debut at the show, offering more than 2,000 products across over 130 categories. The company plans to enter European automotive markets, including Germany, beginning in 2027. Xiaomi Auto has already delivered more than 700,000 vehicles in mainland China since its first deliveries in March 2024.ifa-berlin+1
The company's consumer AIoT platform now exceeds 1.1 billion connected devices worldwide, excluding smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Xiaomi expects its global R&D investment to surpass €24 billion between 2026 and 2030, covering AI, semiconductors, smart vehicles, robotics, and smart manufacturing. "Europe is a key market in Xiaomi's global strategy," said Xu Fei, CMO of Xiaomi, at the event. "The three core parts of our 'Human × Car × Home' smart ecosystem will begin to come together in the region."fonearena+1
