Return From Hiatus

The tour announcement officially ends The Neighbourhood's indefinite hiatus, which began in November 2021. "As we entered our early 30s, we were faced with life outside of the band for the first time in our adult lives. Breakups, family struggles, and personal challenges," the band explained in their August 2025 reunion statement.rollingstone+1

The band secretly reunited in the studio in November 2024 and announced their official return in August 2025. The comeback also marks the return of drummer Brandon Fried, who was dismissed from the band in 2022 following groping allegations by The Marías' María Zardoya. Fried publicly apologized and sought treatment for substance abuse issues.happymag+2
