Uber and Wayve win London robotaxi licenses, beating Waymo and Baidu to market

Uber Technologies and British artificial intelligence startup Wayve Technologies have secured private hire vehicle licenses from Transport for London, clearing the way for the first supervised robotaxi rides available to regular passengers in the city.
