EIB ends 40-year nuclear hiatus with Finnish SMR investment

The European Investment Bank on Tuesday announced a €40 million loan to Finnish nuclear startup Steady Energy, marking the EU lending institution's first-ever investment in small modular reactor technology and ending a four-decade hiatus on nuclear financing.
