reutersreuters+1theedgemalaysiaMeta Platforms on Tuesday launched Meta One, a subscription service that bundles enhanced AI tools and premium features across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI, marking the company's most ambitious push yet to generate revenue beyond digital advertising.
The service, which has already accumulated more than 15 million subscriptions and trials during a phased rollout that began earlier this year, offers more than 50 features spanning content creation, audience engagement and business management, according to Reuters.reuters
Meta One builds on single-product subscriptions — Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus — that launched earlier in 2026. The new bundles layer in compute-intensive AI capabilities, including image and video generation through Meta's Muse models, and tools like Restyle on Instagram.khaleejtimes
Monthly pricing in the U.S. starts at $2.99 for single-product plans, $7.99 for individual bundles and $14.99 for creator and business bundles. In the UAE, single-product plans begin at Dh5.99, with individual bundles from Dh22.99 and creator and business bundles from Dh46.99.reuters+1
Meta said early testing showed more than half of bundle subscribers used both AI and expression features, with tools like Restyle and voice effects on Instagram cited as key reasons for subscribing.khaleejtimes
For creators and businesses, Meta One introduces professional tools directly into its apps. New features include an enhanced business profile showcasing websites, locations and customer reviews, a prominent follow button on Reels, and automatic follow invitations for users who engage with content. Businesses also gain expanded access to Meta Business Agent, an AI tool that handles customer queries around the clock.khaleejtimes

Meta stressed that core functionality across its apps and basic Meta AI usage will remain free, with subscriptions unlocking additional capabilities and expanded AI usage beyond the free tier. The company said it plans to extend Meta One to its Edits video editing app and AI glasses in the coming months.theedgemalaysia+2
