A widespread internet disruption rippled across some of the world's most-used platforms on Monday, June 22, after Cloudflare , the infrastructure provider whose network carries roughly 20 percent of global web traffic, reported increased error rates and latency across multiple services.

Scope of the Disruption

X, Reddit, Zoom , Discord, Canva, Fortnite, and the Epic Games Store were among the services users reported trouble reaching, according to Downdetector data and reports compiled by multiple outlets. On Cloudflare's status page, the company said it began investigating "increased error rates and latency in multiple services" at 13:35 UTC, with the incident affecting its CDN, cache, analytics, and Durable Objects systems. The outage hit hardest in the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Australia, Canada, and Germany. A Recurring Pattern

The episode is the latest in a string of Cloudflare-related disruptions over the past year.
