Among BYD's sub-brands, off-road marque Fang Cheng Bao posted a monthly record of 41,213 units, up 190.64% year-on-year. Denza sold 19,196 units, a 68.76% annual gain, while ultra-luxury brand Yangwang delivered 485 units.cnevpost
The sales recovery comes as BYD works through production bottlenecks tied to its transition from a first-generation Blade Battery to a second-generation product with flash-charging capability. Year-to-Date Gap Narrows
Despite the recent momentum, cumulative sales from January to July totaled 2,227,722 NEVs, still 10.54% below the same period last year — though the gap has narrowed from the 15.72% deficit recorded through the first half of 2026.
