Ryan Gosling cast as Ghost Rider at Marvel’s SDCC panel

Marvel Studios returned to San Diego Comic-Con's Hall H on Saturday night with a sweeping presentation that included exclusive footage from Avengers: Doomsday, the reveal that Ryan Gosling will play Ghost Rider, and confirmation that David Jonsson has been cast as the new Black Panther.

Doomsday Takes Center Stage

The Russo Brothers took the stage alongside members of the Avengers: Doomsday cast to debut exclusive footage from the December film. The clip, narrated by Sue Storm, showcased the rivalry between Reed Richards and Victor Von Doom. "Victor, did you do this?" The panel opened with the announcement that Ryan Gosling will star as Ghost Rider in a new film directed by Shawn Levy, marking Levy's MCU return after Deadpool & Wolverine.
